To mark International Children’s Day, San’at – Forum for Art, Culture, and Science e.V. is presenting the international children’s art exhibition “The World Through Children’s Eyes.” The exhibition brings together children from Germany and Uzbekistan and creates a space for encounter, creativity, and cultural exchange.
The exhibition features approximately 250 works of art by children aged three to thirteen, including more than 50 pieces from Uzbekistan. The works reflect the thoughts, feelings, hopes, and dreams of a young generation and invite visitors to view the world from a different perspective—through the eyes of children.

The World Through Children’s Eyes
The exhibition focuses not on perfection or artistic professionalism, but on children’s authentic perspectives on their environment. The works on display were created by children with a wide variety of experiences and backgrounds. Some of them attend art schools or creative education programs, while others paint at home with their families or explore their creativity independently of any formal artistic training.
It is precisely this diversity that makes the exhibition so special. Each drawing tells its own story and reflects a child’s unique perspective. The works vary in technique, style, and artistic skill, yet they share one common trait: they are expressions of children’s genuine thoughts, feelings, and ideas.
The exhibition views children’s art not as a competition, but as a form of dialogue. Each piece is regarded as an equally valuable contribution that shows how children see, experience, and wish to shape the world.
Art as a Bridge Between Germany and Uzbekistan
The exhibition promotes cultural exchange between Germany and Uzbekistan and highlights the unifying power of art. It demonstrates that creativity can transcend cultural, linguistic, and geographical boundaries. The works on display show that children, regardless of their background, language, or culture, share similar values: friendship, family, peace, respect, and the desire to live together in harmony.
In this way, the exhibition contributes to cultural education, the promotion of tolerance and mutual understanding, and the strengthening of friendly relations between the two countries.
Project Objectives
The exhibition aims to achieve the following goals:
- To foster children’s creative development;
- To highlight children’s perspectives and forms of expression;
- To support cultural exchange between Germany and Uzbekistan;
- To promote openness, respect, and intercultural dialogue;
- To strengthen cultural education and children’s participation in society;
Cultural Program
In addition to the exhibition, visitors can look forward to a diverse cultural program featuring traditional Uzbek and Azerbaijani dance performances by San’at Forum and the Rhythm Dance Group, creative workshops, and hands-on activities for children and families. In the workshops, participants can create flower wreaths, children can paint, work with clay, and learn various creative techniques. All completed works may be taken home as personal mementos.

Participants
The works on display were created by children from Berlin—from kindergartens, art and educational institutions—as well as by students from public schools in Uzbekistan, including children from Tashkent and the P. Benkow Republican Art College.
Children’s artworks were presented by:
- Azerbaijani Cultural Center Khari Bülbül e.V.
- Art Space Berlin Art School
- Primo Piano Berlin Music and Art School
In addition, numerous children of various nationalities and cultural backgrounds from different districts of Berlin as well as from Uzbekistan are participating.
His Excellency Mr. Dilshod Akhatov, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Germany, is expected to attend the grand opening.
The exhibition is guided by the principles of cultural exchange and international understanding. It powerfully demonstrates that art can build bridges between people and cultures.
